I can’t for the life of me remember the name of the book, but I do so clearly recall this one line that rang immediately true for me: I searched online as we often do when we’re avoiding looking within, and came across an e-book that claimed it would help answer these questions for me. “I know I’m a catch, but why doesn’t he seem to see that?” “How do I get him to love me the way I deserve?” Want more ideas and practical tips for creating your own reality? Decide what’s going to go right today and plan how to make that happen. Wake up and tell yourself what you’re grateful for. Wake up and ask yourself, what’s going to go right today? Create a new day, a different day. Figure out how to improve what didn’t go well. Set aside some time (even five minutes is enough) every day to set and monitor intentions for change. Then set an intention, set some goals, and go! How you can be intentional about your thoughts, your actions, and your day.Īnalyze, reflect, but don’t obsess. If you can’t see clearly, ask a trusted somebody to look with you. There’s hardly a situation that you can’t change, at least a little. It’s just not cool to keep whining about a situation that you can change. All we can ask of ourselves is that we show up and do our best. What if there really are some things wrong with your life? Well, if you’re not changing it, you’re choosing it. I’m here to tell you that you can change your beliefs. Period.”Friends, as Marissa Peer says “ You make your beliefs and your beliefs make you”.
